“We are all afraid of you. Everyone in the land is living in terror. For we have heard

have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things.

Joshua 2:9-11
The two spies must have been shocked to hear Rahab’s report. After all, the Israelites had been told that the Canaanites were giants! On the contrary, the enemies in their promised land were trembling in terror!
Amazingly, the Israelites’ enemies were still trembling because of miracles GOD had performed forty years before! That makes me wonder about the enemy of my soul…what has he seen GOD do in my life? God delivered me from rape and carjacking by Ugandan soldiers…God spared our lives when surrounded by hundreds of rioters…God restored my breath after it got knocked out of me…God gave supernatural strength to perform like a forty-year old at age sixty-eight. Yes, my enemy remembers every miracle GOD has done in my life for seventy years…and he trembles!
Satan has NO power over God…whatever GOD plans to do, HE will do! However, Satan does have power to mess with our minds. There he plants doubts to undermine faith. There he twists ugly lies to make them sound like brilliant truth. But Satan can NEVER mess with God!
So next time you tremble in fear, remember your enemy is trembling even more! He not only remembers what God has already done in your life; he remembers Calvary. And because of what GOD did on that day, Satan will NEVER stop trembling!
