“What Will You Proclaim?”

“It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, and your faithfulness at night.

Psalm 92:1-2

The past months have been extremely difficult as my sisters and I navigated waters no one would choose. However, these two verses not only brought light to our current walk in the dark, but they've set the course for my future.

I love the name LORD—Jehovah, the God who is I AM. Whether yesterday, today, or tomorrow, “I AM” is always in the present! I also love the name Most High because if God’s MOST high, then NOBODY surpasses Him! HE is in above ALL!

Yes, proclaiming praise to such a God is good, but what do I proclaim to myself or to others? How often are my words filled with doubt, worry, or even lies? “What if I have cancer…This is impossible…I can’t forgive that…I’ll never make it!” If I begin the morning with such negative proclamations, what will the rest of my day be like?

Instead, what if every morning I proclaim what GOD can do? What if I thanked HIM for the unfailing love HE wants to demonstrate today? Often, I may need to proclaim by faith, but God will always respond, even if my faith is small!

And then, when the day is over, what if I proclaim the faithfulness of GOD I witnessed throughout the day? Besides, proclaiming what GOD did today will give me faith for what He WILL do tomorrow!

So, I have decided—down with negative proclamations! Will you join me? Every day, for the rest of our lives…

Let’s proclaim GOD’s unfailing love in the morning,

And HIS faithfulness at night!
