I’ve heard numerous expressions of fear over the years, like “Will God still protect me, even if I can't quote Psalm 91?” But wait! God’s Word is NOT a magic wand to make our problems disappear—God’s Word is Truth to make our faith grow. Unless we hide Truth in our hearts, fear will reign. Trust grows as our store of Truth grows!
I’m thankful Jesus purchased unlimited storage for my heart, because one download of Truth would have never generated enough faith for my storms! However, when the torrents of gossip rained down hard, His Truth showed ME how to change! When the floodwaters of fear threatened to overwhelm me, His Truth loved me to freedom! When the winds of adversity sent us packing, His Truth held me securely.
